Shrewsbury Business Park

Shrewsbury Business Park was started as an idea in 1999 – to protect the medieval core of this ancient town by providing a place for local businesses to expand and to attract new business. It is situated on the A5, the route to the UK motorway network. A 30-acre Business Park in partnership with Shropshire Council, 25 acres have been developed to date; 2000 people work there every day; Holiday Inn Express have a 40 bed hotel, Busy Bees give child care and the Co-op provides convenience food. It is the prime office location west of Birmingham.

Thanks to Shropshire Council; Ewan Dryburgh, architect, and James Hay of Walker Hay Architects; Ross Marshall of BJSE Consulting, structural engineers; Chris Field of Macfarlanes and Merter Hilmi and Geraldine Gallagher of Freedman+Hilmi, lawyers; and John Gwilliam of MATRIX Construction, building contractors.
